Medicinal Forms
Dosage and Administration
- For adults (18 years or above), doctors recommend taking 2 teaspoons of Vidaylin syrup 120 ml 2 teaspoons once a day.
- However, for children (1-5 years), doctors may prescribe oral solution or suspension. The recommended dosage for children is 5ml once a day.
- You can take the tablet or liquid form with or without a meal. But if you face any stomach-related effects, then consider eating after food.
- Measure the syrup with a measuring spoon, cup, or dropper.
- If you miss a dose of Vidaylin Syrup, then take the dose as early as possible. But if it is almost the time of the next dose, then skip the previous one and take the next one. And follow the regular dosing schedule.
- Follow the dosing instructions as advised by your doctor.

There are no serious side effects after taking Vidaylin Syrup. But some of the commonly occurring effects are as follows:

Its signs and symptoms are pale skin, itching, labored breathing, hives, a weak and rapid pulse, runny nose, nausea, excessive salivation, swollen tongue and lips, dizziness, tingling feet, mouth, hands, or scalp, vomiting, sneezing, etc.

Drug Interactions
When you take more than two drugs together, they can cause a reaction in the body. Sometimes the reaction is not obvious. But sometimes, it can cause adverse reactions. Therefore, it is better to consult your doctor before taking other medicines along with Vidaylin Syrup.
It is an iron-containing multivitamin syrup and may interact with the following drugs:
- Antacids
- Bisphosphonates (Alendronate)
- Thyroid Medications (Levothyroxine)
- Levodopa
- Some Antibiotics (Tetracyclines, Quinolones, Ciprofloxacin)

Overdose of Vidaylin Syrup
Some of the symptoms of an overdose of Vidaylin Syrup are:
- Stomach Pain
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Vomiting
