Medicinal Forms
Dosage and Administration
- Dosage of Concor tablet for heart failure (for adults): 1.25mg tablet regularly
- Dosage of Concor tablet for hypertension (for adults): 2.5mg tablet daily
- Normally, the dosage of Concor tablet for any condition depends on the severity and type of medical condition. The right dosage is prescribed by the doctor depending on the severity of the condition.
- Take the medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Do not discontinue the medicine on your own because sudden discontinuation of the medication can also increase the risk of medical conditions such as heart attack, tachycardia, arrhythmias, etc.
- If you want to stop taking the Concor tablet, then you need to talk to your doctor first.
- Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet; swallow it whole with some water.

- Allergic to Concor Tablet
If you’re allergic to Concor Tablet or any other drug like Concor Tablet, do not take it. It can lead to a life-threatening condition called anaphylactic shock.
Anaphylactic shock is a rare but very severe allergic reaction and can lead to death if not treated at the right time. Its signs and symptoms are pale skin, itching, labored breathing, hives, a weak and rapid pulse, runny nose, nausea, excessive salivation, swollen tongue and lips, dizziness, tingling feet, mouth, hands, or scalp, vomiting, sneezing, etc.
It is better to inform your doctor about any allergies you may have.
Diabetes patients should take any beta blocker with great caution. The pancreas has beta receptors that perform insulin production. Thus, taking beta blockers can change the function of the pancreas, and insulin production is also affected.
Hence, people with diabetes should take any beta blocker with extreme caution, as the use of Concor tablets can make moderation of blood sugar levels very difficult.
If you have heart block, take Concor Tablet with the doctor’s advice only. Moreover, people with any heart condition should take the drug with caution because it can worsen the existing condition.
Bradycardia is a cardiac condition in which the heart rate is slower than normal. People having bradycardia should not use Concor tablets, because they can further slow down the heart rate and the situation can become life-threatening.

Overdose of Concor Tablet
Some of the symptoms of an overdose of Concor Tablet are:
