Medicinal Forms
Dosage and Administration
- Doctors recommend half (½) a spoonful four times a day for adults and children 2 years of age and older.
- For infants (6-24 months), doctors recommend one quarter (¼) a spoonful four times a day.
- The recommended dosage of the Daktarin Oral Gel is 4 ml of gel applied 4 times per day.
- If the gel is used to treat a child, then try to keep the gel in front of the mouth to prevent choking hazards.
- If you miss a dose of Daktarin Oral Gel, then take the dose as early as possible. But if it is almost the time of the next dose, then skip the previous one and take the next one. And follow the regular dosing schedule.
- Follow the dosing instructions as advised by your doctor.

Overdose of Daktarin Oral Gel
In case of overdose, the harmful effects can be lessened by performing gastric emptying, if necessary. A specific antidote for this oral gel is currently not available.
