Diane 35 Tablet contains Cyproterone Acetate and Ethinyl Estradiol which belongs to the class of drugs known as steroidal antiandrogens and estrogen.
Diane 35 Tablet Uses
Diane 35 tablet is used to treat various medical conditions such as PCOS symptoms (excessive hair growth, acne, irregular periods, etc). It is also used as an oral contraceptive pill to prevent unwanted pregnancy in women.
Diane 35 has Cyproterone Acetate and Ethinyl Estradiol. Cyproterone Acetate functions by blocking the overproduction of androgen (a male hormone) in the ovaries and lessening acne and unwanted facial hair growth. On the other hand, Ethinyl Estradiol works as an enhancer. It can also solve anti-androgen issues in males and also work against prostate cancer.

Medicinal Forms
Dosage and Administration
- Doctors recommend this medicine in 28-day cycles consisting of 1 tablet daily for 21 consecutive days. It should be followed by a 7-day interval without medicine.
- However, for children (under 18 years of age), this medicine is not recommended.
- Do not stop using Diane 35 without talking to your doctor. Also, do not increase or decrease the dosage of the medicine on your own.
- You can take the tablet during or after a meal. But if you face any stomach-related effects, then consider it taking after food.
- Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet; instead, swallow it whole along with some water.
- Avoid direct sun exposure while using the Diane 35 tablet.
- If you miss a dose of Diane 35 Tablet, then take the dose as early as possible. But if it is almost the time of the next dose, then skip the previous one and take the next one. And follow the regular dosing schedule.
