Medicinal Forms
Dosage and Administration
- For adults and children above 12 years of age, doctors recommend taking 2-4 tablespoons of Entamizole 90ml thrice a day for five days depending on the infection being treated.
- However, for children (5-12 years), doctors may prescribe 1-2 tablespoons of the oral solution three times a day for 5 days.
- For children younger than 5 years, it is prescribed to take 1 tablespoon of syrup 3 times a day for five days.
- You should take the syrup with your meal. But if you face any stomach-related effects, then consider taking it after food.
- If you miss a dose of Entamizole Syrup, then take the dose as early as possible. But if it is almost the time of the next dose, skip the previous one and take the next one. And follow the regular dosing schedule.
