Vermox Tablet Uses

Worm infections are common in children. Approximately every child in their childhood has a worm infection once in their life. To treat worm infections caused by various worms, doctors usually recommend taking anthelmintics.

One of the best anthelmintics is Vermox Tablet. It has Mebendazole as an active ingredient. It is used to treat infections caused by pinworm, roundworm, whipworm, and hookworm.

Mebendazole works by inhibiting the worms utilizing glucose (sugar). Without using sugar, the cells of the worms lose their energy supply and die. Mebendazole does not kill the worm eggs. That is the reason you need to take another dose 2 weeks later to prevent reinfection of worms.
