Xcept Tablet contains Rivaroxaban which belongs to the class of medications known as anticoagulants (Factor Xa Inhibitors).
Xcept Tablet Uses
Blood clotting can occur due to several factors and underlying conditions. Blood clotting can lead to strokes, heart attacks, and various other conditions. Therefore, it is important to take an anticoagulant.

Medicinal Forms
Dosage and Administration
- For adults, the initial dosage prescribed by the doctor is 40mg per day which is given in divided doses.
- For children below 18 years of age, the Xcept tablet is not recommended.
- You can take the tablet or liquid form with or without a meal. But if you face any stomach-related effects, then consider taking it after food.
- Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet; instead, swallow it whole along with some water.
- If you miss a dose of Xcept Tablet, then take the dose as early as possible. But if it is almost the time of the next dose, then skip the previous one and take the next one. And follow the regular dosing schedule.
- Follow the dosing instructions as advised by your doctor.

Its signs and symptoms are pale skin, itching, labored breathing, hives, a weak and rapid pulse, runny nose, nausea, excessive salivation, swollen tongue and lips, dizziness, tingling feet, mouth, hands, or scalp, vomiting, sneezing, etc.

It is not recommended to consume alcohol while you are taking an Xcept tablet.
For people of age under 18, the use of Xcept tablets is prohibited.
Drug Interactions
When you take more than two drugs together, they can cause a reaction in the body. Sometimes the reaction is not obvious. But sometimes, it can cause adverse reactions. Therefore, it is better to consult your doctor before taking other medicines along with Xcept Tablet.
