Domperidone is an antiemetic (anti-sickness) that belongs to the class of antibiotics known as dopamine antagonists. Domperidone is a prokinetic drug and antiemetic drug. It workds by blocking the action of the chemical messenger (in the brain) which causes nausea and vomiting. Moreover, it also increases the contractions and movements of the stomach and intestines. This allows the food to pass more easily through the stomach.
